W najbliższą niedzielę 13 września 2020 r. krakowscy Karmelici Bosi zapraszają na kolejny – karmelitański – koncert w ramach cyklu „Karmelitańskie Spotkania z Muzyką Organową”. Koncert odbędzie się o godz. 19:00 w kościele pw. Niepokalanego Poczęcia NMP przy ul. Rakowickiej 18 w Krakowie.

Wystąpi wybitny czeski organista, Jaroslav Tůma, profesor Akademii Sztuk Scenicznych w Pradze. Artysta koncertuje na niemal wszystkich kontynentach, ma w swoim dorobku znaczącą dyskografię. Prowadzi działalność naukową, a w kręgu jego zainteresowań znajdują się historyczne organy i inne instrumenty klawiszowe.

W programie koncertu znajdzie się muzyka czeskich kompozytorów, która spotkała się z aprobatą publiczności podczas poprzednich koncertów Festiwalu. Zabrzmią też autorskie kompozycje Jaroslava Tůmy oraz improwizacje, treściowo nawiązujące do duchowości karmelitańskiej.

Po koncercie tradycyjnie odbędzie się spotkanie z zaproszonym Artystą.

Festiwal objęty jest patronatem honorowym ks. Arcybiskupa Marka Jędraszewskiego, Metropolity Krakowskiego. Obecna edycja realizowana jest jako zadanie w ramach Budżetu Obywatelskiego Województwa Małopolskiego i finansowana ze środków Województwa Małopolskiego.
